This is one of those standard posts, one of the posts that everybody with a blog writes: The End of the Summer Post. (the end of the new year post is another common one) But yes, let me rant about my summer:
I can't remember the early months of the summer. I remember going to DelFest with JoAnn and her mother and having such a great time. I met some amazing people there and wish I could see them again.
This past month, as well as most of July, has been spent mostly at Wendys, another part with Sean, not so much with anybody from school--not even bethany--and a part with courtney. i've hooped so many hours, smoked so many bowls, went to so many shows in awesome places (grounds for sculpture, long island, etc) and met so many great people there! vision through sound was great in long island, as well at the rhodes. everyone was so nice, and even though me and court and christian were the new people nobody knew (you came all the way from jersey?!!?) we were still treated like family. I can't say that this has been the best summer ever because i can't say that. i don't remember last summer, and i'm sure by this time next year, i won't remember much of this. but right now, i can say i had a fun summer. water slides, all night parties, camping in backyards(and in sheds when bad weather and leaky tents don't go well), six flags with tommy, beach trips with seany, pool days with boof (even though it was only once haha), gristmill with my joAnny and courtney, sewing parties, hooping in front of wendys, falling asleep on blankets at 2am waiting for people to get out of wendys, crew olympics, tromping through central park, cosmic charlie, hitting people with hoops, new tattoos... the list goes on.
school starts very soon. i need to buy books and parking. parking first of all. i'm living with boof, june, and 2 other girls in clove road apts. its going to be exciting i think. i'll be closer to sean, which makes me happy. i'll be schooling all week, working my 40 hrs on the weekend, like last semester. i'm excited for school to start. not especially for homework and tests and such, but just to be back around people, in the area. don't get me wrong, i like it up here, but being closer to sean and amanda.. seeing bethany more than once a month.. it'll be nice.
